Journaling through the Psalms.

I have been blessed to have many teachers in my life.  One bible teacher that has been instrumental in molding my relationship with Christ is Linda Kline from Psalm One Ministries.  Please check out her website to see the fantastic services that she offers to Christians around the world.

Victories in Prayer!

I really struggled this month with my relationship with God and prayer.  It’s not that I didn’t pray.  I was just trying to find it’s place.  After studying the attributes of God this summer, I really wondered why He would even need me to pray.  He’s perfect, holy, all-knowing, loving.  All His characteristics brought me comfort, but it didn’t lead me to a deeper prayer life.  Quite the opposite.  Continue reading ‘Victories in Prayer!’

Have you seen the pit of despair?

Search the internet for “pit of despair” and you’ll find an old grotesque machine used to torture people or animals.  Many of you probably remember seeing one in the movie The Princess Bride.  Poor young Wesley was just trying to follow the orders of his “True Love” but winds up half dead.  Yet he still finds a way to rescue his girl.
